Christmas is over, December has ended, and a new year has begun.  As a new year begins and things settle down for a couple of months, the time comes to rethink, re-plan, re-organize, and recharge, with the goal of making things little bit better than they were the year before.  I have not done so yet, but pretty soon I will be sitting down for a brainstorming session, planning new products, tweaking designs, and setting goals for the new year.  What kind of goals have you or will you set for this year?

I love quotes, and here are a few to encourage you as you set goals for the new year.  Remember, great things are accomplished by faithfully completing little things!  Never overlook the little things - they are often the most important.

“One day at a time--this is enough. Do not look back and grieve over the past for it is gone; and do not be troubled about the future, for it has not yet come. Live in the present, and make it so beautiful it will be worth remembering.”

"Think big thoughts but relish small pleasures.” -H. Jackson Brown, Jr.

"Attitude is a little thing that makes a big difference." Winston Churchill

"Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things."
Robert Brault

"Great things are not done by impulse, but by a series of small things brought together." George Eliot

"I don't take on big things.  What I do, pretty much, is make the big things small and the small things big."
Larry David

"Success in life is founded upon attention to the small things rather than to the large things; to the every day things nearest to us rather than to the things that are remote and uncommon."
Booker T. Washington

"Do little things as though they were great, because of the majesty of Jesus Christ who does them in us, and who lives our life: and do the greatest things as though they were little and easy, because of His omnipotence."
Blaise Pascal
